一、美国市场营销硕士专业方向及推荐院校
美国各大院校开设的市场营销硕士专业大致也可以分为两大类:Marketing Research / Analytics和IMC(Integrated Marketing Communications)。
1、Marketing Research / Analytics方向
近年来新媒体概念的传播和大数据分析的发展也体现在了美国市场营销硕士项目的设置上。不少项目已经被划分到了理工科的范畴,被认定为STEM专业,既能够让学生学到更加扎实的数理、商业技能,也让中国学生有了更多的机会在美国寻找实习甚至是相关的全职。
- 专业特点: Analytics型,申请难度较大,竞争较激烈;对申请人的数理背景,尤其是统计学知识和统计分析软件(如SPSS、SAS、R等)的使用能力有较高的要求,需要学生有数学、分析、计量、IT等相关学科的基础。

· Johns Hopkins University - MSc in Marketing
一年制的项目,对申请者的专业背景没有特别的要求,但建议最好有一定的数学背景;是转专业申请者和对学校排名比较看重的申请人的理想选择;课程设置上虽然相对侧重Analytics,但也提供branding,strategy和finance等课程,有助于学生综合能力的提升。

· Northwestern University – MSc in Integrated Marketing Communications
IMC整合营销概念的鼻祖,申请难度较大;不过这里需要重点提一下,通常所说的全美最牛的Mkt项目是西北大学开设在Kellogg学院下的MBA和PhD项目,而它的MS Marketing则是开设在传播学院(Medill School of Journalism Graduate)下的。尽管如此,从师资力量和教学质量来说,这个项目都还是很不错的。该项目课程共6个track可选:Brand Strategy,Digital and Interactive Marketing,Strategic Communications, Content Marketing,Marketing Analytics和Media Strategy。15个月的学习共分为5个学期,6个specialization任选一个或多个。一个specialization由2门必修+2门或以上的选修课构成。从就业方面考虑,大多数中国学生至少会选择一个Marketing Analytics track。
· New York University - MSc in Integrated Marketing
